Low Cheaw Hwei is chairperson of the Design Education Advisory Committee (DEAC), a national-level initiative to push the agenda of design into the industry and education sector.
As an independent design consultant, he provides strategic design consultation in the area of business innovation and healthcare experience design to hospitals and government agencies.
Cheaw Hwei was formerly Head of Design and Government & Public Affairs(G&PA) for Philips ASEAN Pacific, and Global Head of Product and Spatial Design, where he spearheaded the creative direction for Philips’ global portfolio, creating many of the iconic Philips products we see today.
He was awarded the Singapore Public Service Medal in 2017 for his contributions to design through education.
