Cooking lessons, dressing up as Disney characters and a virtual mass dance on Tik Tok. These were some of the activities dreamt up by students from Methodist Girls’ School (MGS) as part of MGS Stay Creative! project. It was initiated for students to showcase their ideas that nurtured the joy of learning and sense of togetherness during Singapore’s circuit breaker period earlier this year. This is just one of the many stories that will be shared at the second Design Education Summit.
DesignSingapore Council (Dsg), in partnership with the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre, presents the 2nd Design Education Summit, a platform for educators and students to get updated on the best practices in design education.
Rethinking Design projects in a post-pandemic world, Using technology to enhance creativity in education, and the Design of learning experiences using play: these are some themes of stories shared by educators around the world, that will be celebrated at the 2nd Design Education Summit.
